Municipal Court Judge
The successful applicant will preside over the Town of Dove Creek Municipal Court, advising defendants of municipal charges and penalties, taking pleas and sentencing, holding bench and some jury trials. Relevant experience to traffic laws of Colorado, the Model Traffic Code, and court procedure. Colorado license to practice law preferred but not required. Currently court is held once per month. Additional days may be necessary for trials.
No Benefits; contract position, Compensation $300 - $900 / month.
